Where to find the Lax Incense in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were released on November 19 and almost a month later, players everywhere are continuing to search for their favorite Pokémon within the games. There are a ton of hidden items in the game. And if you’re trying to get that full National Dex, you have a lot of work ahead of you. Some Trainers also want to find all the hidden TMs, held items and more.

Lax Incense is one of the Incenses found in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. It’s a held item that’s useful for some Trainers, its effect makes the Pokémon holding it harder to hit with attacks. A very unique item to try on a competitive team, if you’re willing to put in the time to finding the right combo. But first, you have to get the incense.

The Lax Incense can then be found on Route 225. On Route 225, you can also find a few other items hidden around. A Rare Candy and a few Ultra balls are the best options to grab. Be sure to fully explore the area to find them. But anyway, here’s where to find the incense. You’ll need to get the National Dex from Professor Oak first before you can access Route 225. That means you need to have seen the basic 150 monsters in the Sinnoh dex first. Get that and you have gotten the National Dex and unlocked the endgame. Now you’re ready to begin.

Go to Snowpoint City and take the boat over to the Fight Area to get to the zone south of the area.  Travel north on Route 225 until you reach a house with two trees to the right, they are both Cut trees, so they have that very distinctive shape.

Head from the Fight Area to Route 225 and then go north into the route. Head up the main path and turn left at the first fork. Head to the left stairs and follow the path up and around. It’s a somewhat convoluted path that you will pass by multiple items on the way. If you find the Revive on the left side of the zone, you’re just south of the Lax Incense. The spot you’re looking for is about midway through Route 225. Cut down one of the trees and grab the incense.

While you’re zipping around getting this stuff done, there are plenty of other hidden items and secrets to find. If you’re gunning for that full Dex completion, it might be a good idea to look for some Honey Trees. If you’re chasing more evolutions, there’s plenty more. Budew and Kadabra can both be evolved in similar ways for this game. but if you don’t want to waste time with that, there’s a duplication exploit floating around. Evolution items are a big part of the game now, in this modern era of Pokémon. There are tons of evolution stones and other items you need to hunt for, like the Reaper Cloth. There are both stat-boosting and evolution items you might want. The Splash Plate is useful for Water-favoring Trainers. You could also be hunting for the Electrizer, which is useful for getting Electabuzz.
