The Holo-Day Bash is coming back into Apex Legends in 2020. That event is coming back this year, with much the same joy and flair. The legends are all getting new skins and there’s a sack full of challenges headed our way. It will look a lot like the event from last year, but with a new coat of paint. If you need a refresher of what else happened in Apex Legends in 2019, there was the Winter Express, the first-ever control point based Limited-Time Mode. Players have even been treated to a special announcement of the new mode thanks to the dulcet tones of Mirage themselves.
Most of the content is just like last time, but with a few key tweaks. Players will be able to earn various rewards and badges by playing in Holo-Day Bash 2020, including unique badges for just being around. The Winter Express LTM will also give out some neat gifts. You just need to score 250 points in the LTM to earn the basic rewards. There are also three challenge badges being added this time around.
The first three of the three challenge badges are exclusive to the LTM, with a 4th badge being given for beating them all. There is also a new Holo-Spray that is themed for the winter event reading ‘Happy Holo-Days’
The various cosmetics and other bonuses from the holiday events will be unique to Holo-Day Bash, but the manner in which they’re handed out is being standardized. The developers have said this is the way events will work in the game from now on. Fans can expect more weapon skins, loading screens and other goodies throughout the course of the event.
