Shadow of the Tomb Raider Editions and Season Pass details

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Ultimate Edition

Shadow of the Tomb Raider leaked some interesting details a few days ago, and now Square Enix has let the floodgates explode and revealed some more details about the upcoming Action-Adventure game.

As we knew already Shadow of the Tomb Raider, will have three special edition releases, both in physical and digital forms.

First up are the Deluxe Editions will feature the soundtrack, an additional outfit and weapon, a PS4 dynamic theme/Xbox One avatar/Steam wallpaper, and the chance to play the game 48 hours before general release.

The Croft editions will include everything from the Deluxe, as well as a larger selection of in-game items, and free access to the DLC Season Pass.

Finally, there’s the the Ultimate Edition which is a physical-only release. This version includes all the bells and whistles from the previous edition, as well as some goodies like a custom statue, a bottle opener, and a branded flashlight.

Prices for all of the special editions of Shadow of the Tomb Raider have yet to be confirmed by Square Enix, although we’ll keep you posted. You should probably expect the Ultimate Edition to cost much more than $100 USD though, as these kinds of special editions of games tend to be very pricey.

The Season Pass has access to seven new Challenge Tombs, which are incredibly difficult puzzle-filled trapfests for players to navigate. Each piece of DLC will also include some more weapons costumes and other in-game items for those that purchase them.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is due out on September 14 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
