GTA Online and Red Dead Online are some really excellent online game modes for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 respectively. Rockstar has made a literal mint off of the various DLC and other paid microtransactions in these two games. And with the months rolling on, players keep coming back for new addons like missions, side activities and other fun stuff. The various heists, events and other stuff in both gameplay elements brought “players back in bigger numbers than ever” and made December 2019 the best possible month for both GTA Online and Red Dead Online.
As a result, Rockstar is giving away some rewards for all players. For both games, the reward bundles are geared towards new players, but can help out veterans as well.
GTA Online Rewards
The added bonuses for GTA Online are pretty simple. GTA Online players that log in between Jan 30 and Feb 5 will get one million GTA$ added to their account. That’s enough to go toward that new vehicle you may have been eyeing. It could also be used to fund a run of the new Diamond Casino Heist. And if players log in and play between February 6 and 12, they will earn another million bucks.
Red Dead Online Rewards:
Players in the online portion of the cowboy sim are also getting some goodies. There are two significant rewards for Red Dead Online players. The first is a Gunslinger’s Cache. The other is called the Bounty Hunter’s Kit. Both of these add some special ammo and other gear to the player inventory, letting the Red Dead Online players who claim the bundles save a bit of cash. The first of the two will run between January 28 and February 3. The second Bounty Hunter bundle will be out between February 4 and February 10.
Gunslinger’s Cache has the following weapons and ammo included with it:
- Varmint Rifle
- Schofield Revolver
- 100 Split Point Revolver Ammo
- 100 High Velocity Pistol Ammo
- 100 Express Repeater Ammo
- 100 Slug Shotgun Ammo
- 20 Explosive Rifle Ammo
The Bounty Hunter’s Kit includes a free Bounty Hunter license, 25 bolas, and 25 tracking arrows.
