Kingdom Hearts III releases new Winnie the Pooh trailer

Kingdom Hearts III Winnie The Pooh Trailer

Have you wondered what other franchises will get featured in Kingdom Hearts III? So far we’ve seen the likes of Frozen, Toy Story, Tangled and so many more. Well now, Sora and his buddies from all over the Disney universe are gonna need some help from everyone’s favorite honey-loving bear and his pals. That’s because Winnie the Pooh is getting it’s own themed world in-game based on the Hundred Acre Woods.  Since the zone has first appeared in the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, fans have been wanting to see more of this iconic locale. The wait is now over, because we’re heading back to the Hunny Tree and all the locations you know and love in Kingdom Hearts III.

And don’t worry, all the equally fan-favorite characters like Tigger, Roo and more will be returning this time around.

These characters have appeared in the Kingdom Hearts games before. So fans of both the games and the source material aren’t that surprised, but it’s nice to see the iconic characters making a return to games once again. Ever since author A. A. Milne originally created the stories, they’ve developed a die-hard following. I mean the Disney adaptations alone span 40 years or more, so it’s understandable that people who may not be familiar with Kingdom Hearts may want to jump onboard now.

Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood has it’s own world, and joins the other Disney-inspired Worlds such as Ratatouille, Big Hero 6 and many other new and returning franchises. The newest zone in the JRPG was revealed as part of the X018 event in Mexico City this past week. Microsoft had a ton of other announcements and games at the show as well, you should go check out our coverage.

If you want to see more gameplay of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts iteration, check out some gameplay featuring the Toy Story and Frozen universes. Then there’s the boss battle against Aqua footage.

Kingdom Hearts III is due out early next year on January 29 for PS4 and Xbox One. And the games will launch in Japan just a few days earlier on January 25th for PS4 and Xbox One.
