Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has a new commercial, and it’s pretty nuts

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate New CG Trailer

Nintendo just released a new trailer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and it’s pretty cool, you should check it out.

The trailer itself is just pure CG, and it’s essentially just a rapid rundown of the game’s roster, so don’t expect any fast-paced gameplay footage or anything like that. Even then, there’s still a lot for Nintendo fans to enjoy because the video is full of slow-motion moments, zooms, familiar voices, and fun sound effects. We get to see Mario, Link, Peach, Fox McCloud Mewto and so many more fighters jump into action ahead of the biggest brawl in Smash history. With 70+ fighters and more than 100 stages this is the biggest, and possibly the best, game in franchise history.

There’s a lot more to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate than what is shown in this trailer though. The game has multiple game modes, focusing on both singleplayer and multiplayer variants. With the new online GSP rankings, and other adjacent modes, we’ll know once and for all who is the king of the Smash roost. And in terms of singleplayer, there’s a new story mode starring Kirby, as well as a special Spirit Battles mode meant to add tons of challenge and customization options to fights.

All in all, it looks like Smash fans across the spectrum of different platforms and gameplay styles will have plenty to love about this newest release when it finally drops.
