Kingdom Hearts III is pushing hard towards release, and fans are extremely excited and anxious about what the final game will turn out to be. Well Square Enix is here to comfort fans and gamers with a message that the team behind the game is working very hard. According to a recent Tweet from the official Kingdom Hearts account reveals that the team is working so diligently that they had to skip Italian Lucca Comic & Games 2018.
A special message from #KingdomHearts franchise director Tetsuya Nomura:
“I was supposed to visit #LuccaCG18 but as development on #KingdomHearts III is coming to an end, I have to focus on development. Instead, I’ve prepared a special trailer for everyone – please watch!”

As a bit of good news though, the team did release a new trailer for the game.
Said trailer highlights Tangled, the newer spin on the classic Rapunzel tales. We see the happy and exuberant Rapunzel freed by Sora, Goofy and Donald. This group of heroes and iconic characters then join forces to take on the Darkness and other evils. The world of Tangled looks pretty cool in this short trailer, and the characters seem nicely realized and fleshed-out. The voice acting talent is really on point here. Haley Joel Osment returns to voice Sora, while Zachary Levi will return as Flynn Rider and Donna Murphy will once again be Mother Gothel. And all of those star-studded names are just the beginning.
If you want to see more gameplay of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts iteration, check out some gameplay featuring the Toy Story and Frozen universes. Then there’s the boss battle against Aqua footage. Or, if you want to see more footage of Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay in the world of Tangled, there’s more of that as well.
Kingdom Hearts III will release in the West on January 29th, 2019, and in Japan just a few days earlier on January 25th for PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the new Tangled trailer for the game down below.
