How to complete Hoothoot’s Hidden Foot in New Pokémon Snap
- Head into Florio Nature Park (Night).
- Ignore the first Hoothoot you see up in the tree.
- When you see the Hoothoot sitting on the sign, aim your camera at it and peg it with a Fluffruit.
- Take a photo of the pose that exposes both feet.
There are two spots you find Hoothoot, both near the end of the course. You might think you need to aim for the first one, but that’s not the case, you’re after the second mon. You need to draw out the hidden foot because Hoothoot is normally only seen with one leg exposed.
You want to focus on the one sitting on the sign nearby. That’s the one that will show both of its feet. Now hit it with a fluffruit to knock it off balance. It will then try to regain its balance and will expose its second talon for a second.
Now snap the pic when the Pokémon does the pose. Once you have the proper photo, you can return to Professor Mirror and turn in your prize for a nice chunk of XP. There, you have now completed Hoothoot’s Hidden Foot in New Pokémon Snap.
