Overcooked 2 released first DLC, adds New Game+ mode

Overcooked 2

A while back, Ghost Town Games teased a new batch of DLC for the massively fun Overcooked 2. And now, that update is out on various platforms. The Surf n’ Turf update is live tomorrow.

The biggest addition to the game is a New Game+ mode that allows players to chase new high scores on all levels.

With the New Game+ mode, the games various already challenging levels now just got even harder. The game now has four star requirements for fulfilling objectives. As an example, level 1-1 requires a score of 20 points for one star, 60 for two, 240 for three, and a whopping 1,000 points for four stars.

One nice change is that the game won’t require you to reset your save file to pursue the new four-star requirements. So you can chase those new challenges to your hearts content. The update also adds new content and levels with a beachy theme, so it’s time to soak up some sun.
