So the Google Stadia reveal stream just wrapped, and it has the internet buzzing with hype about the upcoming launch of Google’s new game cloud streaming site. The focus was of course on what really matters to gamers, the games themselves, so Google was happy to provide details on some of the dozens of launch titles for Stadia.
The roster of games on the platform includes new titles like the in-development Baldur’s Gate 3, but also titles like The Division 2, Destiny 2, and many more.
Google then talked about how the pricing structure for the new service will work. Here’s the full breakdown on all of the prices, if you’re interested.
Includes: Up to 1080p/60 FPS streaming of games and the ability to play games in a Chrome browser or via Pixel 3/3a (more phones will be added later). Games are purchased a la carte, with no free titles for signing up.
Includes: Allows for up to 4K/60 fps HDR with 5.1 surround sound (provided your bandwidth can handle it), as well as select free games and discounts on games to purchase. Stadia Pro members will also get access to special bundles, like the new Destiny 2 bundle which includes all the premium content for the shooter.
Google is also releasing the Founder’s Edition bundle for $129 which will get the following goodies for gamers that buy into it.
- Limited-edition Night Blue controller
- Chromecast Ultra
- 3-month Stadia Pro subscription
- First dibs on Stadia Name
- One 3-month Buddy Pass to give Stadia Pro to a friend
- Additional Stadia controllers are available for $69 and come in three colors.
