Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XV getting new crossover event featuring Noctis

Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy XIV Crossover April 2019

With the announcement of the release date for the next expansion of Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix had plenty of other goodies to share with Final Fantasy fans. During the Fan Festival in Paris this week, Square Enix announced a new collaborative event within the MMO. The newest event will bring over Noctis and legendary Regalia from Final Fantasy XV. The new event will see the arrival of Prince Noctis, who will fight alongside XIV’s Warrior Of Light in an epic showdown against Garuda.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen these two titles crossover either. There was the Glamour Prism gear added to Final Fantasy XV last year. That event also feature Garuda.

Square Enix also disclosed the timeline of what patches will release content related to Shadowbringers and the surrounding events and content, as well as the general release dates for the new content.

Patch 4.55 – coming 12th February
New Rival Wings Map “Hidden Gorge” – The newest campaign in this large-scale 48-man PvP content will feature new mechanics and rules. Two teams will compete to control train stations within the arena to obtain valuable cargo, and best Goblin Mercenaries who roam the battlefield to win their favor and have them fight as an ally.
Eureka Hydatos – The fourth and final entry in the Eureka storyline will raise the elemental level cap to 60, add new logos actions and allow gear enhanced in Pyros to be further improved. Those who follow the story to its conclusion will be able to enter The Baldesion Arsenal, an ultra high-end public instanced dungeon for up to 56 players. It’s a challenge not for the faint-hearted!

Patch 4.56 – coming Late March
New Main Scenario Quests – the Stormblood storyline comes to a shocking conclusion.
Even Further Hildibrand Adventures – the Inspector Extraordinaire makes a return.
