Final Fantasy VII Remake Digital Pre-Load Now Available

How to change attack shortcuts in Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo

Ahead of the launch of the most popular RPG ever, again, fans are finally able to start installing the game. The Final Fantasy VII Remake digital pre-load has begun this week, giving players a chance to download the game, which will take some time due to the size of the game. According to Producer Yoshinori Kitase:

“We know that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many people having to stay at home, some of you may be experiencing extra pressure on your internet bandwidth. We wanted to give all our fans some extra time to download the game.”

Keep in mind that the content will not be unlocked for some time, as the game itself does not unlock until April 10 for the PS4. Also, this is just the first in a series of games that breaks down the massive RPG into more digestible chunks. The publisher has been working hard to get the first part out on time, and it should be nice to see this iconic RPG entry make a triumphant return to the modern gaming scene.

Square Enix has also released a new trailer for the game ahead of the launch this month, check it out down below.

This announcement of an early pre-load will be helpful as many gamers on PSN and Xbox Live are experiencing issues as increased load due to COVID-19 has caused some networks to throttle traffic.
