It looks like the first batch of post-launch updates for MiHoYo’s surprisingly popular gacha game has landed. The developer has already announced plans for the next year, leading into version 1.2, and those plans included several new roster additions. The first of these new roster addons has just landed. The developer has revealed some story elements and other details of Klee in Genshin Impact.
To start with the developer has released a teaser trailer showing her story and how she fits into the game world. Klee in Genshin Impact is a pretty cutesy character, but don’t let that fool you. She is a no-nonsense kind of person and is very dependable in a fight. She offers a pretty convincing and dangerous repertoire of explosive abilities. Klee will feature as a banner character, that means you’re going to have to either grind or spend money to get her. The drop system in this game as abysmal, there’s no way around it. Reports abound of players dumping $100 or more and still not getting the banner character. Or sometimes, they’ll spend hundreds of dollars and get four or more of the same character. Save up those rolls for when you can spend as many as possible. That way, you can hope that the game’s pity system kicks in and gives you the character you’re after.
The game is now available for PS4, PC, iOS, and Android, with a Switch version also planned down the line. The Switch port is a way off though, as we don’t have a firm release date for that.
