9 FPS Twitch Streamers Worth Watching

Streamers are still being DMCA'd for clips they delete on Twitch

With thousands of streamers going live on twitch daily, it can be hard to know where to turn—particularly if you’re looking for a specific type of content. Today we’ll take a look at the most exciting vibrant (and occasionally controversial) twitch streamers of FPS titles. But watch out, loading up one of these streams may get you hooked. Many of these streamers got huge by playing popular games, so if you want to follow in their footsteps, keep reading to learn who to keep your eye on. Of course, some folks just want to watch fun games and make some friends online, and that’s cool too. If you’re just in the mood to be entertained by charismatic gamers having fun, this list is for you too.

xQc

If you were around during the Overwatch World Cup back when it first began, you’ll definitely remember xQc. This dynamic, fast-talking French-Canadian streamer is a veteran of the esports scene meaning he is not only entertaining but also damn good at what he does. While xQc used to stick to Overwatch, his gaming roster has branched out since those days culminating in him being recognized as the most-watched Twitch streamer in 2020.
It’s fair to say that xQc isn’t unfamiliar with controversy—with plenty of controversial moments happening both on and off screen to energize his crowd; for better or for worse.

Gaules

Alexandre Borba is a Brazil-based streamer whose audience exploded in 2020, resulting in being the most-watched streamer of November that year. Known for playing a tonne of CS:GO, Gaules’ streams are diverse and often move with gaming trends while keeping a certain number of FPS staples. Gaules is currently the most-watched Portuguese channel on twitch.

DrLupo

A professional Fortnite player for years now, DrLupo has a strong presence on both Twitch and YouTube. While Fortnite might be his biggest jam, at least professionally, his stream often dips into intense FPS titles such as Escape from Tarkov.

Streaming on Twitch is a huge business, but you need games to do it. That’s where you need to save some cash so you can get better equipment. Having a good quality stream is important, so why overpay for games? If you’re in the market for cheap cd keys, be sure to head over to GameCamp to get the steam key at a discount!

Summit1g

Off the back of his professional career as a CS:GO player, Summit1g is among the top Twitch streamers, and he has held that spot for a long time. Switching between plenty of games, Summit1g has received plenty of sponsorships by big brands, and takes part int plenty of high-profile streaming events. Making him certainly one to watch if you want to see someone at the top of their streaming game.

Myth

From Halo to Fortnite, Myth began his streaming journey in 2016 on a channel called Paragon which quickly gained popularity. But there’s something incredible about Myth—he is widely known as the best Fortnite player in the world and is currently the captain of Team Solomid. You can also find Myth all over YouTube.

NICKMERCS

Body-builder, esports pro and twitch streamer is certainly an interesting resume, and that’s exactly what NICKMERCS is. Part of the well known FaZe Clan, he has over 3 million subscribers on YouTube and plays titles from Call of Duty to Apex Legends to Fortnite.

Shroud

Michael Grzesiek, a.k.a. Shroud, is a former professional CS:GO player for the legendary esports team Cloud9. While he has left the professional scene, he hasn’t lost any of his skills. Putting in an average of 50 hours a week on a plethora of games from PUBG and H1Z1 to Rainbow Six Siege and Battlefield. Shroud also has a strong presence on YouTube, and is widely considered one of the world’s top FPS players.

TimTheTatMan

Full-time streamer USA-based Timothy John Betar plays a whole variety of games, with Overwatch by far being his favourite FPS. While Tim’s streams revolve around gaming, he offers something a lot of other gaming streamers don’t—his own persona. He often spends time just chatting with his audience, often even incorporating his wife into his streams. Over the years, Tim has been sponsored by plenty of big name brands, such as Monster Energy and Razer, a fact that solidifies him as one of the top streamers out there.

TFUE

TFUE has blown up in popularity over the last few years, amassing over 10 million followers on twitch and a similar number on YouTube. While TFUE was primarily known for his Fortnite skills, he has pivoted into other FPS titles like Apex Legends, where he has become one of the most prominent streamers. Streaming presents both entertainment and opportunity. And, best of all, if you think you have what it takes to captivate an audience with your gameplay or your personality (or ideally both) you can give it a shot without dropping a penny. Heck, why not start up your own Twitch stream today? You might even make this list a few years down the line.
