Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 PC Requirements and Beta Start Times

Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Starting on August 11 at 10 AM PST, PC gamers will finally get their hands on the beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Keep in mind that this beta will be exclusive to the Battle.Net client and service. Those who pre-ordered the game get access to the beta test 24 hours early, so be aware of that start time change if that applies to you.

According to a Treyarch blog post, There will be multiple modes in the beta, many of which veteran Call of Duty players will be very familiar with:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Domination
  • Hardpoint
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Search & Destroy
  • Control

Across those six different modes, players will also “battle over six distinct maps”, Some of the maps are brand new, while some are making a comeback from previous Call of Duty: Black Ops installments.

Jungle, Slums, Summit, and Firing Range are all maps from previous games in the series, with various tweaks and layout changes thrown in. Although Treyarch teases two brand new maps for players to trot around in. Gridlock and Hacienda are those two new locales.

In addition to these details, we also get a peek at the system requirements for the beta. Now bear in mind that since this is a work-in-progress version of the game, these specs could very well change prior to release. You can find both the minimum and recommended specs below:
