Square Enix is about to bring their latest game to store shelves with Just Cause 4, and Rico Rodriguez is just getting started with his journey into the chaotic and tornado-laden lands of Solis. The game just got a brand spanking new launch trailer which showcases some stellar gameplay and stylistic new graphics, including the new dynamic weather systems, which features weaponized tornadoes.
This latest trailer shows us much of what we’ve already seen in terms of gameplay. Rico is on a quest to blow up literally anything and everything he can see, and he’s going to do it in the most insane and stylish way he can. Rico can drive/fly/steer cars, planes, motorbikes, boats, and explosive gas tanks throughout the island using the myriad of tools at his disposal. It’s pretty nuts exactly how insane this game is, Square Enix really went over-the-top, and that’s just how fans wanted it.
If you want to see more of this latest entry in action, you could take a look at some really campy lighthearted trailers Square Enix released a while back, showing Rico blasting away at the Black Hand in various action movie styles. You might also want to take a look at some other trailers to get a better look at the game. There’s the “Eye of the Storm” cinematic trailer. There’s also a trailer showcasing Rico’s latest and most dangerous rival. All in all, this game looks amazing, and fans should be really hyped.
