SoulCalibur VI details upcoming patch and Create-a-Soul mode

NieR: Automata’s 2B is Coming to SoulCalibur VI

Dengeki Broadcast and Project Soul collaborated for a recent livestream to discuss the upcoming patch for SoulCalibur VI. Japanese video game magazine Dengeki Online revealed aspects of new additions to the Create-a-Soul game mode, as well as some new DLC plans for characters and cosmetic items.

The main focus with this patch will be the Create-a-Soul mode, with a pack of new parts heading for the fighting game. The developers plan to release a small handful of cosmetic parts, and some new tweaks to some fighters. For example, Azwel, 2B and more have had some of their movesets given slight alterations. There’s also some hitbox issues and other bugs being addressed with the patch.

In terms of other content, there’s still more DLC planned for the game, coming after the launch of the 1.11 patch. Bandai Namco and Project Soul plan to release at least two new items packs, totaling 100 different items, for the Create-a-Soul mode. There are also at least two new DLC characters in the works.

SoulCalibur VI is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can see the complete Dengeki Broadcast Stream down below if you want more details about the patch. We also included a rundown of the patch notes down there too.
