Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced some new content for SoulCalibur VI. The big news this week is all about the legendary pirate Cervantes making his return to the franchise. He’s been brought back to the land of the living by Soul Edge, and he’s hopping right back into the fight.
And he’s not the only new or returning character coming back to the ring in the latest version of the classic franchise. Tira was revealed a while back as a ringblade-wielding badass. Azwel, the magic-fueled lunatic is joining in on the fun as well. Older characters like Astaroth are getting a new lease on life too. You can check out more of the roster over here.
This new trailer takes fans on a tour of the various game modes that will be part of SoulCalibur VI. There’s the new story mode Libra of Soul. If you’d rather play online, you’ll be able to access Ranked Match, Casual Match, Rankings, and Replay.
Last, but not least, we get a Museum feature, chock full of artwork, information, and more, letting us delve into the deep history of the franchise.
