MiHoYo has a real hit on their hands. The Chinese game maker has managed to really hit it out of the park with the explosion in popularity of gacha title Genshin Impact. The fusion of gacha mechanics, anime characters, and a really compelling gameplay loop, have all made the game a hit. One of the common complaints though rests with the gacha mechanics. It’s way too expensive to roll for characters, and players are looking for anyway they can to get free Primogems for those rolls.
Sorry to say, but there’s no unlimited free way to instantly get Primogems. Anyone claiming to have such a method is trying to scam you. MiHoYo has however put one option into the game to get more stuff for free. You can redeem codes in Genshin Impact to get Primogems and other rewards for free.
First, navigate to the official Genshin Impact website and log into your account. From there, you will want to have your codes ready to input, but there’s one thing you need to do first.
Unfortunately, you can’t just redeem codes as soon as you start Genshin Impact, as the game limits redemptions to more experienced players. You need to get to Adventure Rank 10 before you can redeem codes in Genshin Impact. Once that’s done, you just need to visit the link and input the codes. Codes are locked to each region, so keep that in mind.
Once you’re ready, head to the website and click Redeem Code at the top of the screen. The image below shows the UI. Just choose your server, then your character, once the server accepts it, input the codes to redeem them for various prizes.
Use these codes to claim a few rewards to get you started. The developer will likely add more as time goes on. We’ll try to keep the list up to date. These codes can also only be used once per user. So don’t think you can claim big stacks of Primogems or anything.
