How to Get Poké Balls in Pixelmon

Poké Balls in Pixelmon are a key part of the game. Being a huge mod for Minecraft, there’s a lot to cover. The mod tasks you to become the ideal and master Pokémon trainer across a massive world filled with various biomes and trainers. All that means the mod has a lot of room for players to explore and hunt Pokémon in. But to do that hunting, you need tons of Poké Balls in Pixelmon.

How to craft Poké Balls in Pixelmon

To make all this work, you will need an anvil in PixelmonOnce you have that and the hammer, you need a source for a couple of items. You need a Hammer of some kind to actually hammer the Discs. You need stone for Buttons. You also need a steady source of Apricorns and Metals. When you get to the recipes listed below, you will see why you need a lot of these items.

Craft the Discs

Making a  Poké Ball Disc is pretty simple. Use the recipe list below to determine what Disc you want, based on what Ball you want. Cook the Apricorns for the Disc in a furnace, then put the correct three Cooked Apricorns in a row to make the Disc. That’s the top half of the Ball prepped. Now it’s time to hammer it. Place the flat Disc on the Anvil and hammer it into a rounded shape.

Now you need to do the same thing for the bottom. The basic idea is that you place the Aluminum/Iron Disc on the Anvil and hit it with the hammer. This will create the bottom half of the Ball.

The Structure

You should use the basic in-game recipe to make a Stone Button, then you’re ready for final assembly. Use the recipe below to finish the process. Place the three items listed all in the same vertical column in a crafting table to finish the Ball.

  1. Top Half (named Disc)
  2. Stone Button
  3. Bottom Half (Aluminum Disc)

Recipes

The list below provides the recipe for the top part of each type of Poké Ball. The top half is the way you determine what Pokéball you get in the final product. Most of these can be crafted with a mix of Apricorns. Some rare balls are a bit harder to get though, like Master Balls.

Master Balls are restricted to rare loot drops from sources like Tier 3 loot in PokéLoot Chests, as well as End City chests. You can also get these from Legendary Pokémon. Anyway, here are the combos you need to have to make each disc.
