How to catch a Sturgeon in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

How to find and catch an Oarfish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is loaded with stuff to do, whether it’s catching fish and bugs, mining for ore and minerals, or just socializing with your neighbors, the game has plenty of options. Players in the new Switch title will notice that there are also plenty of rare spawns hidden within these systems, and they’re a great source of Bells. One of the best fishing catches is the Sturgeon in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

This particular fish has a price tag of around 10,000 Bells, so it’s super worth it. Of course, you could also just use the new duplication exploit to make unlimited Bells. But if you want to play it straight, farming for Bells from things like rare fish and Money Trees is the optimal way to do that. With fishing, rare spawns like the Oarfish and now the rare Sturgeon in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These mechanics enable some pretty great methods for making cash in the game. So if you enjoy fishing in this game, we have good news. The spawn of this rare fish is easy to track, but hard to find. Players will notice that the Sturgeon has the largest shadow, even bigger than the Oarfish. And it’s well-worth the process of hunting it down.
