Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force has another new Switch trailer

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force arrives on Switch on January 17

Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force has a new trailer and some screenshots today.

For those wondering, Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force was released originally on the PS3 back in 2013, which was then ported to the PC in 2015. A version for the PS4 and PC was later launched, with lots of new features and new DLC, titled Advent Forces F through 2016 and 2017 respectively. It’s that PS4 version that serves as the basis for this Switch port, and the Switch variant includes all of the 25 pieces of DLC content that were released for the PS4 game.

The story and combat are pretty archetypal JRPG flair. A goddess and an evil god vie for power in a fantasy land, creating a variety of magical weapons called “Furies” which are given to chosen avatars and champions in the ongoing conflict. The wielders of these weapons are known as “Fencers” and are the central focus of the in-game story.

The switch version of the JRPG drops this month on January 17th, bringing the action and cutesy characters to another platform for gamers to enjoy. You can check out the trailer that was just released by the developers down below. Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force will launch for Switch exclusively on the Nintendo eShop. It’ll have a 20% discount from the $39.99 price during the week of it’s launch.
