Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD out now for PS4 and Xbox One

Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Square Enix has announced. There’s also version of the game incoming for the Nintendo Switch.

This version of the 2016 JRPG originally debuted on mobile devices last year, but has now made the journey to game consoles. If you still haven’t played this great game, I’d recommend you go out and snag the Royal Edition for your platform of choice. That way gets you the full base game, as well as most of the DLC released so far. Square Enix announced last month at PAX East that there are more “Episodes” of DLC coming in 2019 as well.

These four planned episodes are as follows:

Pocket Edition is a much smaller and simpler version of the massively successful JRPG that is Final Fantasy XV. It features most of the main story, but a lot of the side content is stripped out. All of the open-world elements have been removed and the action takes place from a fixed camera perspective with simplified controls.

You can pick up Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD ons PS4 and Xbox One for $29.99, you may also want to check out the trailer down below.
