Zombie Army 4: Dead War debuts more gameplay footage
The Zombie Army 4: Dead War team just dropped a new gameplay snippet, dubbed the “101” trailer, it acts as a primer for all the fascistic undead you’re about the face in the new video game. And being the newest Zombie Army spinoff of the Sniper Elite series, expect both plenty of zombies, and lot’s of slo-mo kills with various weapons.
The new footage for The Zombie Army 4: Dead War shows all the unique enemies, special abilities, weapons, levels and maps that feature in the spin-off, there’s tons of new content in the game, so check below to see all of it. There’s a new story art for starters, offering multiple levels of increasingly difficult enemies. And even though the player now has access to a new suite of weapons and abilities, the bad guys got an upgrade too. New unique zombie types roam the battlefield, looking for prey.
The new shooter also has support for up to four players in one game, offering plenty of enemies to blast to bits. Players can join together and take on the campaign in an online co-op mode, offering hours of fun. You can even blast limbs off now. Shooting Nazis in their testicles has never been so fun. And yes, the X-ray kills and other stylish effects make a return as well. So if you do manage to land one of the new dismemberment kills, you can watch it in all it’s glory.
The developers have also spent a ton of effort and time on revamping other areas. New maps built around real-world locales, like rural cityscapes in Croatia and the canals of Venice, offer a new tourist destination. Although rather than some good relaxation, you’re about to be swarmed by hordes of ravenous undead. Players will be able to adjust to their new surroundings and adapt through a “deep player progression and customization system” that let’s them unlock new abilities and weapon upgrades which make them much more efficient killers.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 4, 2020. Watch the new 101 trailer down below.
