WWE 2K20 1.06 patch fixes tons of bugs

WWE 2K20

WWE 2K20 fans have reported a ton of different issues with the game. From the serious lack of content, to the overall worse quality of the visuals and so much more, fans have plenty of points to be made on that front. Players are finally getting some reprive from their complaints with the newest patch, WWE 2K20 1.06.

WWE 2K20 1.06 introduces a bunch of changes to the game, almost across the board. inclusion of custom championships. The create-a-championship feature has been around in many games. For one thing, there’s a bunch of changes being made to pretty much every game mode. Alt. Attires are now usable in Universe mode, for example. The overall Universe Mode has been expanded in a few different ways. Bugs with certain match types and PPV configurations have also been addressed in the mode. There was also a bunch of adjustments to gameplay in other modes as well, like MyCAREER and MyPLAYER.

For one thing there’s of course a ton of fixes for a bunch of crashes. These crashes affected almost every game mode in some way, like Showcase, Towers, and Originals. Various issues with Creative modes have been fixed too. There’s crashes, infinite load screens, and a ton of model collision issues and other distortions have been dealt with. It’s nice to see 2K and Visual Concepts working on improving the game, but it still clearly has a while to go before it’s fixed to a fully reliable state.

Also, all of the missing features are rather annoying to long-time fans of the franchise. Given the flopped launch, there’s some questions floating around about whether the developer will push enough new content to keep the game going. There’s no way of doubting the mess the game is still in, here’s a recap of what went wrong with WWE 2K20.

This patch will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Although WWE 2K20‘s patch 1.06 is clocking in at a massive 25 GB in size, so you’re going to be stuck downloading this bast for a while.
