Focus Home Interactive and Saber have revealed a new trailer for their upcoming World War Z game. In this new trailer, we see more of the Swarm mechanics in action for World War Z. All of that is set against the obnoxious, but strangely fitting song “Boom” by P.O.D. Tons of zombies get exploded in the trailer, so it’s pretty fitting actually.
There is some other good news for zombie fans interested in this game. A few weeks ago Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive announced the April release date of the game. There was also the announcement that the game would be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. There was also an announcement that the game would get a permanent price drop. PC players will then be able to purchase World War Z for a reduced rate of $34.99.
World War Z may be currently exclusive to the Epic Games Store, so anyone who purchases it will get a key for that version if purchases digitally. There is a bit of a bonus for those that purchase the retail release. Retail versions of the game grant the Lobo Weapon Pack as a free bonus. There’s some golden skins and the infamous Lobo included in there, so that’s cool. The Lobo is a specialized melee weapon from the Max Brooks book that inspired this game. And no, it wasn’t in the garbage film of the same name.
The game is scheduled for a April 16 release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Check out the latest trailer for this new barrel of zombie fun down below.
