Blizzard teases new story elements in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth cinematic “Lost Honor”
During BlizzCon 2018, the company has revealed a new cinematic bit for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. The latest cinematic for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth reveals King Anduin Wrynn teaming up with Saurfang to try and stop the ongoing war.
There’s some really deep and dark reflections on the nature of conflict buried in the Battle For Azeroth storyline, and even though Warcraft as a franchise has never shied away from these topics, it’s nice to see the narrative building some genuine tension through personal conflict and doubt. And even though the obviously building civil war among the Horde is a bit tropish, I’m hopeful that Blizzard can deliver a satisfying conclusion to the ongoing war between the Alliance and the Horde. Although that probably won’t happen until a lot more bodies are piled up, so you better get ready to see some of your favorite characters hit the dirt.
We’re clearly building to a new facet of the conflict for patch 8.1 “Tides of Vengence.” in World of Warcraft. It’ll be interesting to see how this evolves over time.
