Wolfenstein Youngblood Announced; Coming in 2019

Wolfenstein Youngblood Announced

Bethesda has announced the next Wolfenstein game at E3 2018.

The game will be a co-op experience featuring B.J. Blazkowicz’s twin daughters. It will be set in Paris in the franchise’s world’s alternate reality eighties. This places it nearly 20 years after the events of The New Colossus. Ole’ BJ has gone missing, and it’s up to this pair of teenage Nazi killers to find him.

“The year is 1980. Two decades have passed since BJ Blazkowicz rallied the resistance and sparked the Second American Revolution in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. However, the battle for freedom is far from over. BJ has gone missing in Nazi-occupied Paris and now all hope resides in his children to carry on the fight in Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Announced at the 2018 Bethesda E3 Showcase, Wolfenstein: Youngblood stars Jessica and Sophia Blazkowicz, the twin daughters of Anya & BJ. Together, they’ll wage a tag-team offensive to take back Paris from Nazi tyranny and locate their father in an intense co-operative campaign. It’s up to you – and a friend – to uphold the Blazkowicz family tradition of Nazi-killin’ and save the world when Youngblood releases in 2019.”

Another game named Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot will come to VR platforms and is on the show floor of E3. The game features resistance hackers seizing control of Nazi tech to turn it against their masters.

“The Resistance has upped its tech game in the two decades since the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot drops you into the role of a resistance hacker on a mission to tear apart the Nazi forces in Paris using their own machines. Take control of a fire-breathing Panzerhund and more as you fight Nazis in the City of Love in order to aid the French resistance. Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot will be available as a standalone VR game in 2019. Saddle up, Cyberpilot. You’re one of us now.”
