Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem has finally launched out of beta. The new ARPG borrows quite a bit from other games and iconic fiction franchises, as things like the Warhammer influences are hard to miss. Still, it looks like a really fun romp through chaos and bloodshed. There’s a mountain of loot to pick through and a severely dangerous bunch of enemies to dispatch, so get started. The game has both co-op and singleplayer campaign options too, so why not jump into the fray with a buddy.
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a pretty simple game as it turns out. The story is your pretty basic fight against evil, and there’s plenty of evil denizens to dispatch. The gameplay is where things start to get interesting. Combat is bloody and fast. And you’re not tied to a specific playstyle either. Whether you want to make a no-nonsense fighter or a daring and flexible rogue, you have the option. And 20 different spells mean any spellcaster you create has plenty of tools to make use of.
The mountains of loot are here as well. With 11 tiers of armor and weapons, there’s plenty of gear to deck out your new character with. Players can augment said characters with a complex leveling system that isn’t tied down by class restrictions. Players collect special loot from enemies called Enneracts =which are then used to spec into certain skills and abilities.
You can push your characters all the way to the titanic level of 90, opening up a ton of multi-class build options. There are more than 40 different skills that can be combined with the hoard of gear to create your dream RPG badass.

And like we said, there’s co-op in this campaign. So whether you choose to partner up with an old friend, or make use of the matchmaking options built into the game, there’s always going to be someone to play with.
