Why you should kill Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 Remake

How to unlock Nightmare and Inferno Mode in Resident Evil 3 Remake

The first encounter with Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 Remake is actually a multiphase fight. The first time he attacks you is after you’ve turned the power back on through the Substation. The process of putting all the power nodes back on and dealing with those disgusting parasites is hard, but it clues you on to something about our buy Nemy. The Grenades given to Jill throughout this section of the game are a clue as to how you should fight him. You will need to use those Grenades to kill Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 Remake. Well, not really.

The first time Nemesis crashes through the wall, use the dodge roll when he lunges at you and then immediately toss a Grenade at him. This will knock a Supply Case off of him. Some quick menuing will reveal that the first case contains the Extended Magazine for the handgun. Shortly after this first encounter, but before you make it back to the subway, Nemesis will return. This second phase triggers when you head back through Moon’s Donuts and you see Nemesis infecting another host with a parasite.

This encounter should lead into the subway office where you plan the route. The parasite-infected hosts are also a huge danger here, aim for the legs and go around them.

If you use the Grenades to kill Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 Remake here, you get another Supply Case that contains the Moderator. This silencer also boosts critical damage.

Nemesis will show up one more time. The final phase involves him showing up again when you meet back up with Carlos and Nikolai. After the cutscene, backtrack to the warehouse area, you will know you’re in the right location when you the pair of red barrels against the wall next to the Handgun Ammo.

You need to be quick here. Maneuver Nemesis into position and shoot the barrels, this should take him down permanently for this section. The final Supply Case gives you some Shotgun Ammo. Smash your way through the yellow grate in the wall and crawl through the vent to make your way back to the subway.
