Being a new MMO, there’s a big and varied map in Lost Ark. But departing from most MMO conventions, there’s actually a lot more depth than one would expect. Of all the different systems, the game has a lot to offer. It would seem the team has taken cues from both other genre competitors, as well as other open-world games. With all that variety, comes a lot of unfortunate player confusion. Players new to the genre, or this specific type of MMO, may be a little confused. These Lost Ark Guides aim to help with that.
Where to farm the Bloody Rod in Lost Ark
Players have to find and complete a bunch of different items via the in-game crafting systems. There are many pieces of gear like this in the game. The Bloody Rod is among the items you can earn to complete the Tome. The item is very rare, it’s a purple or Epic drop. Being that this is the highest current tier for collectible rarity, you’ve got a grind ahead of you. You will need to put some time into finding it for when you plan to complete the Adventurer’s Tome.
This seems to be a random drop from enemies in the Rethramis continent. That means it can come from any source in the zone. Bosses in dungeons seem to be a pretty reliable source. You could try running Chaos Dungeons until you get the items you’re after. This is actually the best way to farm more Bloody Rod in Lost Ark. As this drop is not tied to a specific enemy, any enemy can drop it.
Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed method to earn the Bloody Rod faster, as it entirely depends on your luck in encounters. It will be the same process for other items, such as the Plague Spores, Regulus Statue Fragments, Boof of the Priest and more.
There are plenty of other things to learn about Lost Ark beyond this simple stuff. Strongholds that act as bases for crafting, seem to have some folks confused. There’s also that premium sub that some players are curious about. Doing things like dismantling gear is pretty important too. Learning how to do that can help your crafting efforts a bit. Get out there and start exploring, adventurer. Handling gear upgrades is another important aspect, mostly via Engravings and other upgrades.
