Where to get Cotton Yarn In V Rising

V Rising PvP guide

V Rising is the kind of game that offers a ton of depth, much more than at first glance. To properly break into the midpoint of the game, you need to unlock better gear than copper or bone items. The process is pretty complicated, as you need to take out a litany of bosses beforehand. There’s one boss, in particular, that allows you to unlock the iron tier. That process is a bit more complicated than you might think.

When you first unlock the various weapons and gear of the game, you’re stuck with basic bone and copper weapons. You will quickly move beyond this into higher tiers of items, often with much cooler powers. But to get to that point, you need resources. There are a huge volume of items that you loot from enemies in this game, and many more crafting recipes you need to make use of. Cotton Yarn In V Rising is one such item, here’s what you need to do to find it.

Where to get Cotton Yarn In V Rising

Cotton is an essential resource that is needed to craft Cotton Yarn. You can grow it yourself if you manage to find the seeds, but those can be pretty rare.

This is a key item used in a few different recipes, with the Eye of Twilight being the key one. This late-game bench allows you to track the locations of some powerful buffs on the in-game map.  If you want to get the Cotton Yarn so you can build the Eye of Twilight, you will first need to get the right recipes. That means hunting down the right bosses. There’s a boss you need to kill to unlock the Loom. Once you kill Beatrice the Tailor you can then craft the Loom at your castle. Beatrice can be found on the southern side of the Dawnbreak Village in the Dunley Farmlands region. There are several bosses in this zone, so be careful.

You could also try farming for the resource manually. The best location to kill enemies to get Cotton is from Cotton Farms, which can be found across the Dunley Farmlands region. Now, it’s important to note that seeds are relatively hard to obtain, especially those that cannot be purchased, so farming the Cotton Farms for the Cotton and seeds may take a long time. It’s genuinely just to try and use mid-level servants on 2-hour missions to farm these locations instead. You can easily get dozens or even hundreds of Cotton with this method.

Once you have the cotton, you just need to use the Loom to spin it into Yarn.

Be sure to check out our other guides on scrolls, and other materials like fish oil. Other upgrades like Whetstones are pretty useful as well. Other aspects of the game can help with your journey, like farming in V Rising and growing stuff from seeds. Seeds harvested from bosses can be used to grow unique items for crating intriguing new armor. Some of the best armor in the game is the Dark Silver gear, which is super powerful. And since you’re trying to get more powerful gear, leather can be helpful as well. Other items like Wool Thread, Coarse Thread and Clay are useful for early game crafting. Once you get more advanced, you have to deal with mechanics like Misery and crafting advanced items, such as Scourgestones.
