Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 begins this Thursday, August 27 and it’s bringing with it some new Marvel-themed fun. The teaser that showed Thor coming to the game turned out to be true, and things are about to get a little more heroic in the battle royale land built by Epic Games. Along with all the new content coming in Season 4, there will be some Thor elements coming to the game, tying the game to the iconic Marvel hero.
One of those new elements is the legendary Thor’s Hammer in Fortnite. In the comic canon, the hammer can only be wielded by those who are worthy. So here’s where to look to find the legendary weapon. The game added the hammer along with various other elements explaining how it got here. Check out the new Thor comic strip on the Battle Pass screen, resting on the barrel, to learn more.
You can already find Thor’s Hammer in the game. It is located to the south of Salty Springs, and can be found at the center of a massive crater.

Thor and Galactus could both be coming to the game in some form, although details are still scarce. There’s suspicion that the two will do battle in some form, and players will be able to help out the God of Thunder in some way. That’s what’s hinted at by the comic strip anyway, we will have to wait and see what happens with that.
The crater itself is mostly barren, and there are no in-game challenges with claiming it right now. But that’s very likely to change once the new season goes live this week.
