Elden Ring is a game that makes no bones about its difficulty. Bosses can be deadly challenging, and sometimes you need help to overcome them. The game not only offers powerful gear to soup up your build, but also lets other players lend a helping hand. But to really succeed, you need good gear. There are a ton of different weapons and armor spread throughout the many zones of the game. As you explore and uncover secrets, you’re sure to find more interesting items. And if you played the original Dark Souls, you remember how dominant the Uchigatana was as a weapon. This dexterity weapon is incredibly fast, and offers a solid amount of range and damage. Where to find the Uchigatana in Elden Ring
To get the Uchigatana Sword, you will first need to head to the Deathtouched Catacombs. Deathtouched Catacombs is one of the Small Dungeons found in the Limgrave Region in Elden Ring. Once inside the Deathtouched Catacombs, you need to head through the tunnels to find the path to the weapon. Head down the first tunnel and head down. There will be a set of stairs ahead of you, under the stairs, there’s a small nook with a small dark tunnel. You should end up in a room with a bunch of skeletons. The issue with this area is that it’s oppressively dark. Because of this, we highly recommend getting a Torch for this reason.
On the other side of the tunnel is a small room with two more skeletons and an opening on the left. Take the left path after taking out the enemies. When you get to the open room, jump down and turn around. The doorway ahead of you is the way forward. Head down the hallway to the next room. There will be a handful of skeleton archers waiting here. Use the overhangs in the room as cover and advance on them. Take them down and look around for a dead body hanging off a ledge. Loot the corpse to get the Uchigatana. You can now make use of that to your heart’s content.
