In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot you will have to catch two certain fish in a substory. This guide on Where To Find The Goliath & Scarlet Catfish in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will tell you exactly where you can find the Goliath Catfish as well as the Scarlet Catfish.
This guide will assume that you already understand fishing in DBZ Kakarot and how to target specific fish once you cast your tail in the water. If you’re not familiar with that, then you will have to learn how to fish in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
You can catch the Goliath Catfish right next to the place where you receive the Substory Yajirobe and Korin. You will find a fishing spot right next to Yajirobe. The Goliath Catfish is pretty easy to catch. Just ignore the smaller fishes and look for the fish which has the biggest fin, it’s always pretty big enough to be partially above the water. If you target only those fishes, then you’ll catch the Goliath in a couple of attempts.
The Scarlet Catfish can also be found in the same place. However, it spawns more frequently with bait. When I used the bait to make fishes appear more frequently, then I caught the Scarlet Catfish back to back. Otherwise, without a bait, I kept on catching only Goliath Catfish for about 20 attempts. Be sure to use bait, and target only the fishes with bigger fins.
