Where to find Slurp Bouncer mushrooms in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3

Fortnite‘s map is constantly undergoing changes as the battle royale evolves with each new season. And with each season, also comes a massive amount of new challenges and quests to figure out. Each time the map refreshes, things tend to get weird and confusing. Epic sure loves throwing new things at the player, and this week is no exception.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 has introduced everything from new POIs to new weapons and even new characters. With all that, comes a suspiciously mutated new map. There are several new landmarks in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. And with these, comes a mix of different POIs and unique biomes as well. There’s a whole list of new areas, including the ones that have been tainted by the new mutated chemicals all over one end of the map. The recurring POIs on Fortnite Chapter three, season three’s map include:

  • Tilted Towers
  • Logjam Lumberyard
  • Coney Crossroads
  • Rocky Reels
  • The Joneses
  • Sleepy Sound
  • The Daily Bugle
  • Chonker’s Speedway
  • Condo Canyon
  • Shifty Shafts
  • Synapse Station

Thanks to the new biome, there are a number of new plants around the southwest corners of the map. One such plant is the Slurp Bouncer mushrooms in Fortnite. These unique blue plants have a pretty cool use, and you want to seek them out. Keep reading to figure out where to find them.

For starters, just look for the giant blue and white mushrooms. So why would you want to hunt these down? That’s because they have a unique effect. When you jump on them, they not only send you flying, but give you a small shield buff. Each mushroom will give you a shield just one time, so you’ll need to find at least seven to reach a full 100 shield. They can exclusively, for now, only be found in the southwest portion of the map. Marked on the map below are the two regions to check. THe mushrooms are almost assuredly found all over the place, you just have to look closely.
