How to get Margit’s Shackles in Elden Ring

Elden Ring has some powerful and dangerous bosses. You also need to do a ton of exploration of its open world. The amount of hidden stuff in this game is kind of impressive. Players will not only have to tackle an army of bosses and undead, but there are many hidden items to find. As you get your hands on more items and improve your builds, there’s a lot more potential to uncover. You can uncover powerful Talismans and other items to unlock mysterious abilities.

And then there’s a bunch of crafting items you can also make use of to get more powers and bonuses. Elden Ring has a lot of crafting recipes you can unlock, each with unique uses. One such item is the Gravel Stone in Elden Ring, here’s how to get it.

What is Gravel Stone in Elden Ring?

Here’s what the official description states: “A small clump of sharp, pointed stones. Material used for crafting items. Such compound stones, found in lands once beset by ancient dragons, are said to be the scales of those very beasts.”

It comes from dragons, so of course, it could be used to kill them too. You use Gravel Stone in Elden Ring to make Dragonwound Grease. This item can be applied to weapons to deal extra damage to enemies of Dragon types. You also need to get 1x Root Resin and 1x Beast Blood, in addition to 1x Gravel stone. You unlock the recipe the Ancient Dragon Apostle’s Cookbook 3.

Where to find Gravel Stone in Elden Ring

You can find this item in a few different locations in the game. Knowing where to look can be a bit challenging. Try using this Interactive map to find them precisely scattered around the game.

One of the first locations you’ll find it in is Atlus Plateau. Head to the grave marker overlooking a cliff northeast of the Bridge of Iniquity. There’s another found south of the Tower of Caelid. Go into the region of Dragonbarrow. Head across the road that runs east to west, and look in the lakes to the south.  The Royal Capital in Lyndell also has three of them around this area, found at different points. One is off of the main road, tucked away in an alley. The second can be found in the area above the dragon in this zone. The last one cane found at the ruined area, past the Fortified Manor.

And yes, you may be able to buy it as well for 2,000 Runes the Isolated Merchant in Dragonbarrow. This is actually the best place to get more, as you can also find one for free in this zone.
