With the new region of Dragonspine added to the game, there are tons of new quests to complete and items to uncover. One of the quest objectives in Genshin Impact is to find Chilled Meat. This can only be found around the map of the Dragonspine region, so keep your eyes peeled. Use this guide to figure out where to look for this new item.
You will need this item to deal with the cold Subzero Climates added in the new update. Subzero Climate is a new mechanic that makes it a bit like having to consume spicy dishes in Breath of the Wild to deal with the cold. It’s the same basic principle here, as you need to eat certain dishes that prevent freezing when moving through Dragonspine.
One of the more common ingredients is Chilled Meat. You will also be asked to gather some of it for a specific quest.
Where to find Chilled Meat in Genshin Impact
Chilled Meat most often drops from the Snowboars found around the new zone. You will find these frozen in ice around the area. Look for the big blue ice formations and hit them with Pyro attacks from any party member. This will defrost the boars inside and allow them to be taken out. Each boar will drop a small cache of chilled meat.
From there, you can just go around and farm them. There’s one thing to watch out for though. You will want to keep an eye out for the Boar King. Once you kill a certain amount, maybe 10 to 12, of the frozen boars, the Great Snowboar King will spawn as a mini-boss right on your head. Take it out and you can get 10 more Chilled Meat in one go.
