With the new Box o’ Marvels event in Genshin Impact players get the chance to claim various special rewards by bringing items to Liben. This makes use of some other items that otherwise have a very narrow use case. That’s true of Pinecones in Genshin Impact today. For day two of the event, you’ll need ten of them to turn in for your Box o’ Marvels. Normally, Pinecones are used for a select few Genshin Impact cooking recipes.
Where to farm Pinecones in Genshin Impact
There are two primary locations you can find this resource in abundance.
Pinecones can be found near the bottom of pine trees. One of the best ways to find it is to head over to Qingce Village and find the bridge nearby. The village is on the far western part of the map to the west of Monstadt. Another excellent spot is in eastern Mondstadt, at Dadaupa Gorge and Cape Oath. There are pine trees up and down along the coast here.
The western ones are easy, just fast travel to the village. For the eastern locations start by teleporting to Cape Oath and make your way northeast. There is a group of trees southwest of the Spiral Abyss portal with some Pinecones around. Next, you should head to the Eagle’s Glen fast travel waypoint and run south, there’s another copse of trees there.
