The reincarnation of the classic DS Pokémon games has exploded in popularity. Trainers all over the globe are jumping back into the Sinnoh region for a good time. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have a lot to offer both new and old players. There are some Trainers who want every edge in the game they can find. When you’re trying to get your hands on all 493 roster members, there’s a few tricks you can use.
Where to buy Dusk Balls in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Dusk Balls are best used for capturing Pokémon that often dwell in caves, it’s a great tool to have when trying to complete the Pokédex.
To buy Dusk balls, head to Celestic Town, which is northwest of Solaceon Town and east of Eterna City. You will need both the Defog TM and to get past the Psyduck blockade.
To get the Defog move, you need to beat the gym leader in Veilstone City, then head to Pastoria City. There’s a building there that leads north to the Great Marsh. Pay the 500 Pokédollars and head inside. Find the NPC with green hair to get the Defog TM. The Psydock blockade can be cleared after you get past Pastoria City Gym Leader, Wake, and speak to Cynthia. You need to first defeat some Team Galactic Trainers, and then get Cynthia’s potion. Now, with the Secret Medicine, all you have to do is return to the Psyducks alongside the Café Cabin. Clear the blockade by interacting with it.
Once all of that’s done, you can head through Route 210 into Celestic Town. Head to the upper left part of the town and look for the lone house with the green-haired NPC outside. Head inside the house and talk to the cashier on the left. The NPC will offer you a bunch of specialty Pokéballs for 1,000 Pokédollars: the Dusk Ball, the Quick Ball, and the Timer Ball.
