Where is Xur, and what is he selling in Destiny 2 – May 22, 2020

Where is Xur, and what is he selling in Destiny 2

Xur, the traveling trader in Destiny 2, is back once again this week. Xur shows up in Destiny 2 every Friday and sticks around. He stocks a handful of different weapons and gear each week. Having a rotating stock of Exotics for each class. The trader will move next week and his stock will change. So if you want his new items, get there soon.

Thing is, the trader doesn’t shot up on the minimap or game world maps. You normally have to hunt him down by visiting various locations. This Destiny 2 guide will save you some time by just telling you where the trader is hanging out this week. Just head to the location below to get in touch with him. He’ll be around all week, so you have plenty of time to get to him.

Where Is Xur

This week you can find Xur at the Giant’s Scar on Io.

What Is Xur Selling

This week Xur is selling the following Exotic items. And yes, he has an Exotic item and weapon for each of the main classes in the game.

This week Xur is selling these items:

  • Cerberus +1 – Auto Rifle
  • Celestial Nighthawk – Hunter Helmet
  • Mask of the Quiet One – Titan Helmet
  • Karnstein Amulets – Warlock Gauntlets

Is Xur Worth Buying From?

Cerberus +1 is a nice and effective weapon, and not too OP. So it’s a buy if you’re into getting the Catalyst for it to boost its power. Celestial Nighthawk is a great pickup for Hunter players. If you don’t have it, it’s very much worth it. As a new player in that class, it’s a great damage boost.

Mask of the Quiet One is great for Titans to keep their energy up. If you love riding the edge of death in Destiny 2, this Exotic is for you.

Karnstein Amulets for Warlocks are interesting. Using melee kills to get tons of healing effects is a fun playstyle if that’s what fits with your build.
