During the Heavy is the Head mission in Assassin’s Cred Valhalla, you will encounter a recurring annoyance in the story. Leofrith in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This servant of king Bergurd is a handy fighter, but he’s going down. Here’s how to fight off the boss and what to do after you beat him.
Boss Fight with Leofrith
Leofrith in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla uses a large broadsword as his primary weapon. During his fight, he has multiple moves that involve heavy slashes. He will flash with an orange glow when he’s about to attack. Watch out for his wide slash and the knockback he does with his fist. When you are far away from him, he will rush forward with an upward cut, watch for him to run towards you and move out of the way. He also has a second combo of a slash followed by a fist. Wait for him to slow down and move in to hit him.
You should use ranged weapons to counteract his short range, just be ready to avoid his rushing attacks. He will have a couple of them. Look for the red flashes before he swings after he runs forward and you should be able to dodge them. When you do decide to use a bow, aim for his weakpoints at the arm and his feet. This will stun him if you hit him there enough. When he is charging, you can also shoot him with a bow shot to stun him out of the attack. Although this only works when he is in certain stances and you shoot him in his weak points.
The real key to beating him is to reposte. When you block his attacks and counter, it can open him up to a major attack that will take of a chunk of his health. You can do this once his defensive bar above his health is empty.
Once you have defeated Leofrith, you should talk to him. He will give you an option to either kill or spare him. Depending on your choice, you’re about make the game much harder for yourself. If you choose to kill Leofrith, Zealots will start hunting you for the rest of the game.
However, if you choose to spare Leofrith he will give you the location of a special scroll. That scroll, located at Venonis, is the thing directing the Zealots to hunt Elvior.
