What does the Pro Construction License do in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

All Ordinances in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing New Horizons is here. The free 2.0 update already dropped, adding a ton of new content and features. The amount of stuff in these updates is huge. The updates include 16 new villagers to entice to your island, and a slew of other new features. Cooking is now a thing, for one, and then there’s the massive amount of new items and customization options. To go along with all of that, the paid DLC has added a bunch of new stuff as well.

One of the core new features in the DLC is the ability to make custom homes for tourist villagers. This is meant so that you put your best design foot forward. You can customize and place items in new ways, and it’s also much easier to customize items with certain NPCs at Harv’s co-op. Along with all of this, there’s a safe bet that the game is going to ask a lot of new and returning players.

One of the biggest problems in the base game is the limit to the number of bridges, inclines and other structures you can put down. There’s a way to fix that now.

With all of these new options, you will need better capacity for both items and buildings. There’s a new upgrade for storage that substantially increases the amount of items you can hold back. That’s not all though.

The game offers another option to get you some buildings as well. The Pro Construction License will give you a bunch of expansions to the things you can actually place outdoors on your island. You can now build 10 bridges and/or inclines, compared to the 8 from before the patch. The Pro Construction License can be purchased from the Nook Stop terminal inside Resident Services for 3,000 Nook Miles.

This upgrade is great for players who want more twists and turns to the 5-star Dream Island they’re trying to build.
