What are the PC System Requirements for Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries

Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries

The newest PC game from Piranha Games, Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries, is due out soon. It’s coming out on December 10th in fact via the Epic Games Store. And just like any other PC release, people want to know what kind of rig they need to run the new title. Luckily for us the developers have just dropped the PC system requirements for Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries.

The maps are sprawling and loaded with environmental detail, so there’s plenty to render aside from the mechs themselves. The action of blasting bits and entire body parts off of giant robots is something that Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries fans will relish in, so it better look incredible. And from what we’ve seen of the combat so far, it actually looks really good. The developer also recently showcased some more of the fast and brutal combat, which should help bring some new people in. Anyway, here’s what you’re all here for. Here are the minimum requirements for the game:

For the most optimal settings to play the game smoothly, you will want to have:

It’s pretty easy to run this game by modern hardware standards. Lower end systems from a couple of years ago will have a bit of trouble though. So if you’re rolling out from the mechbay with those minimum  specs, expect a rough time in more intense battles. Especially with all of those environmental effects coming in at launch, terrain destruction and all, there’s going to be a lot going on.

One point of note is that Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries will not support DLSS and raytracing tech at launch, so those on more middling hardware won’t have to worry about the advanced hardware, not that they would anyway as its restricted mostly to RTX cards.
