Wild West being a very much shooter-focused game, there are a lot of guns you’re going to be messing around with. Devolver loves their weird games, so the title is pretty fitting too. Your adventures in the various wastes and deserts of the new setting shooting through various encounters are tons of fun. So getting into that world is something a lot of folks seem very excited about. If you want to run this new game, you’re going to need a rig to do it. That means it helps to check on the Weird West PC system requirements before you buy the game. That way, you won’t be stuck with a game you can’t run.
The game is also available on Xbox, so you can grab it there if you don’t have a good enough PC. But if you do have a relatively modern machine, you should be fine. The game runs pretty well on budget modern GPUs and CPUs. A 650 Ti and a decent FX-era AMD CPU should be enough to run it at low graphic settings, locked to 30 FPS. It won’t be as visually impressive, but the game is still tons of fun.
For those running more modern equipment, you can easily run this game at high graphics settings and 60-90 FPS on something like an i5-9400 and a 1650 Ti. The recommended settings for the game list something along the lines of a second-gen Ryzen and GTX 1050. You could probably get 60-90 FPS on medium settings pretty consistently with that setup.
Weird West is available now on the aforementioned Xbox consoles and PC
