Warriors Orochi 4 unveils another new character, this time it’s Xu Shu

Warriors Orochi 4 Xu Shu Trailer

Warriors Orochi 4 is getting a ton of news updates this week. We’ve got confirmation that another new character is coming to the roster.

For those not in the know, Warriors Orochi 4 will combine the rosters from various Musou games that Koei Tecmo has released. Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors make up the biggest chunk, but there’s plenty of original characters that have only featured in other Orochi titles in this game as well. Xu Shu is the newest addition announced for the roster. The fighter who originally battled on the side of Shu, before switching sides to the Wei dynasty led by Cao Cao is a complex character, and while minor, is still a fan favorite to some.

The gameplay itself will be very familiar to genre fans. Taking your chosen heroes and leading them through a dynamic war effort, while upgrading their skills and equipment along the way. Warriors Orochi 4 ups the ante by making commanding and training your army much more vital and complex, adding a layer of strategy to the game.

Koei Tecmo also just released a new trailer for the character Kyubi, who came from Warriors Orochi 3. But that’s just the beginning of the massive roster for this game. Koei Tecmo also teased some more of the roster with trailers for Perseus, as well as Ares and Odin. There’s also some gameplay footage from TGS 2018, and some more gameplay from Koei Tecmo demonstrating PvP in-game.
