Yes, Koei Tecmo actually did release another new character trailer for Warriors Orochi 4 this weekend. Yesterday it was Xu Shu joining the fray with his own trailer, now we have a trailer for one of the central characters in this series. For those wondering, Orochi is the one who in-universe brought all the different characters together in a single timeline in previous games, ostensibly to have one big barn-burner of a fight. Which is probably why his name is mentioned in the title. And with characters from all over the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series jumping into the action, things are about to get intense.
Koei Tecmo also just released a new trailer for the character Kyubi, who came from Warriors Orochi 3. But that’s just the beginning of the massive roster for this game. Koei Tecmo also teased some more of the roster with trailers for Perseus, as well as Ares and Odin. There’s also some gameplay footage from TGS 2018, and some more gameplay from Koei Tecmo demonstrating PvP in-game.
Orochi made his first appearance in the original title Warriors Orochi on PSP, PS2, and Xbox 360. But unlike those games, he isn’t directly to blame for this latest mixup. Zeus is the one who brought all of the fighters together this time around. Although it’s unclear what role both Orochi and Zeus will play in this game in terms being an antagonist.
Warriors Orochi 4 will soon release for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 16th in North America and 19th in Europe. You can view the Orochi trailer for the game down below.
