Warhammer: Chaosbane returns with new gameplay showing off forces of Chaos
The newest Warhammer-inspired game, Warhammer: Chaosbane has a gory and terrifying new trailer.
Since the game draws from the Warhammer Fantasy source material, it’s a fairly unique and interesting backdrop for the new ARPG. The game takes on a lot fo typical fantasy trappings, and with plenty of loot and dark dungeons to explore, creates an atmosphere that rings very reminiscent of Diablo.
The player takes control of a veteran of the just-finished war against the legions of Chaos, but old wounds will reopen as a new threat seeks to destroy the fragile peace, and the world along with it. With four distinct classes and a mountain of loot, there’s some decent replayability as well.

Long before the reign of our glorious Karl Franz, the bloodthirsty tribes of the North united and invaded the Empire of Man. The Great War Against Chaos raged on, up until Magnus the Pious rallied the citizens of Nuln, resisted the enemy and defeated the Chaos leader, known as ‘The Everchosen’, scattering the invaders in the process. But the forces of Chaos have crawled back from the shadows to strike at the Empire. Unless something is done, the Empire of Man will again descend into darkness and turmoil.
