Warframe Releases For Nintendo Switch On November 20

Warframe Nintendo Switch

We already knew that the excellent F2P shooter Warframe was coming to Nintendo’s portable console, but at least we now know when. In today’s Nintendo Direct presentation it was revealed that the Switch version of the free-to-play co-op third-person shooter Warframe will release on November 20, 2018.

The space ninja action game has been around since 2013, and has developed a dedicated following due both to its fun and complex mechanics, and the transparency of the developers, Digital Extremes. It’s had nearly 40 million players in its lifetime, and a new platform is looking to only increase that number. I only hope that Switch can keep up and isn’t plagued with performance issues.

The developers have been working hard on constantly adding content to the game, so Switch gamers will have plenty to do playing catch-up.

Warframe is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. if you want a free-to-play alternative to Destiny that’s a helluva a lot weirder, Warframe might just be for you.
