Warframe adjusts Arbitrations in 25.7.6 patch

Warframe Empyrean Expansion Teased

The newest Warframe patch is out, bringing changes to a bunch of gameplay areas and some backend stuff in the loot shooter. And keep in mind that these are intentionally less extreme, as DE wants to get player feedback first, in their own words, “All changes are potentially subject to later changes based on feedback, so try out a few mission types and tell us your thoughts!” as far as what’s included, there are new Arcanes and Aura mods on the table, offering some rather powerful new mod types. The other major set of updates within the patch comes in the form of changes to Arbitrations, focusing on making these missions easier to complete.

The biggest change with the Arbitration mode is probably the fact that you’re not longer have to fight double the amount of rounds for a single loot drop. Instead of ten runs to get some loot, players have to make it through only five rotations, meaning faster runs for some rotations. With these changes the rotation was changed from ABCCCC to AABBCCCCC, this does mean that it takes 10 runs to get the full drops through all three rotations.

The big new content comes in the form of some new Mods, here’s the rundown:

In terms of other gameplay changes, the newest Warframe patch  directly alters  the amount of Vitus Essence Output dropped in some missions, effectively doubling the rewards players get. Digital Extremes is making only slight changes for now, being sure to keep an eye on feedback so that players aren’t upset over massive changes in one fell swoop.

And of course, due to this being a hotfix patch, there are a bunch of fixes for various bugs and even some exploits packed in. Another minor set of adjustments concern the core math libraries that drive the game and it’s various interactions. This baseline math deals with how the game computes and delivers data to players machines to be rendered in game, and the general idea is that these changes will have very slight boosts in performance on some instruction sets.

Arbitrations Revisited: Hotfix 25.7.6

Arbitrations Revisited

Last week we released a Dev Workshop (link on those words: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1128051-arbitrations-revisited-part-2/) outlining our plans to improve Arbitrations, revisiting the droptables and improving reward frequency to be more consistent between modes. From new players who just completed the Star Chart, to veterans returning for new Arcanes and Aura mods, we hope these changes result in a more satisfying gameplay experience overall.

All changes are potentially subject to later changes based on feedback, so try out a few mission types and tell us your thoughts!

Reward and Rotation Changes:

In the original Arbitrations, Excavation missions were the clear outlier in terms of reward output for time spent. The following changes are intended to bring all other missions to the same level as Excavation, and also iterate on other community feedback:

New Arbitration Rewards:
The following rewards have been added to the Arbitrations drop tables:

September 20th Update: Regarding our recent Arbitration reward changes: we are keeping an eye on first impressions, but do not want to rush into changes before players have gotten to actually try the mode themselves. Once we have a solid body of statistics to examine, we will perform an audit to see if further tweaks are required.
